Meet the People Behind the Recruiting

Bradshaw, Kentazha - 1

Kentazha “KB” Bradshaw

If you’ve met KB, you remember her.

She brings the kind of energy, authenticity and genuine connection that can’t be taught and she has become a familiar face of the CDA throughout our community.

Whether she’s talking with a student who has never considered a career in public safety, meeting someone ready for a new direction, or representing the CDA in our community, KB has a gift for making people feel like they belong in the conversation.

Because recruiting isn’t really about convincing someone to apply…It’s about helping the right person recognize something in themselves and an opportunity they may never have imagined.

KB is exceptionally good at that.

Will "Showtime" Blanton

With decades of firsthand experience as an Emergency Communications Professional, Will understands the judgment, teamwork and tremendous responsibility required to coordinate public safety response when seconds matter.

He also understands something that’s difficult to capture in a job description: this profession is so much bigger than answering a call.

The people who thrive in emergency communications don’t always arrive knowing this is where they belong. Sometimes, they simply haven’t discovered it yet. And Will is pretty good at helping them do exactly that.
